Trio?

You may have noticed the new header on the page. Yep, we've added a drummer to the mix. Why? Lots of reasons. Bradley Noble is an awesome drummer and we are excited just to have him around! We have had the opportunity to play together as The Grove Band. He seems to really enjoy our original music, but doesn't mind breaking away and getting down to some songs we all know. Also, by adding a drummer we can take more late night and bar gigs. We have broadened our horizons. So help us welcome him to the band.

Aj and I will still be playing our traditional acoustic gigs for dinner and wine crowds as Songwriters Liz and AJ Nance, but start looking for gigs under the moniker The Liz Nance Trio. Shows and updates will still be showing up here, on Reverbnation, and our facebook page.

September 2013

I can't believe how the months have flown by. I know September is gone, but I'm running behind. Here's a weekend we'll never forget. Were busy and looking forward to a crazy October as well. . .

On Friday the 13th we visited Aj's family to see Cat, his aunt, get married. This is a true love story, a wedding I actually looked forward to. Both Cat and her new husband, Ted, lost their late spouses to tragedy. But boy, did God have a plan for them. To see people from all four families celebrating this union together was quite touching. It was the most stress free wedding ever. Lots of laughs and good times shared. We played acoustic music on the porch during the reception.

Looking forward to having a chance to play in Lexington, NC again soon.

We rushed back to Bryson City after the wedding. Had to be back in town to play at Burningtown Music Fest that Saturday. Enjoy the pictures, we sure enjoyed the music, the conversations and the company!

We made new friends and learned some things about our old friends. This group shot was from our clean up day. We all hiked together and came out renewed and ready to take our energy out into the world. . . . .
