Join us and some of our musical friends Friday, January 24 for a night of serving others. We will be playing a two hour show to benefit our dear friend Nina Sotaski. The Liz Nance Trio will take the stage at 7pm. Liz has several guests joining her on the stage throughout the night. Come show some love!
"Nina is 27 and has been fighting multiple illnesses since before she was born. Both her kidneys together work at approximately 5 percent. Nina has been in kidney failure for about 3 yrs now. She faces other medical problems as well with a wound in her abdomen that will not heal. She is always fighting severe infections and has a mitochondrial disease. Unfortunately Nina is no longer a transplant candidate. She is down to her last option for access to dialysis. We are planning to go through training so that Nina can do home dialysis. We hope that she will do better mentally and physically. The training itself has no cost but because we live an hour and half from the center, we will have to pay for lodging, travel and food. We will have to take out renters insurance on the dialysis equipment, that will be an out-of-pocket expense. There are some medical supplies that she needs that the insurance does not cover. Nina has multiple appointments per month, and spends a good bit of time in the hospital. I love being there for Nina and I always will be, but it is very costly. Nina’s health has declined and continues to decline but we do hope that home dialysis will make a difference. We have not given up hope, we know that God is with us, and we know He will heal her. We pray for the best but we prepare for the worst. Any donation you can make will be greatly appreciated." Written by her mother, Dawn Walker
Show is free, but we will be taking donations of any size to help this family! There will also be handmade items for sale at the show. All money will go to help with their expenses.
